    q. 4 any1 in Los Angeles area CA, or frog experts

okay about 6 months ago my friend found a frog in his house and gave it me, he was going to kill it but i couldnt let die so i took it. I kept it in a little critter keeper and fed it crix. My gf fell in love with it and decided that we should have shared custody and she's pretty much has been taking care for it for a long time already. She put it in a 10 gallon, got some eco-earth, and a little pool with shrubs and he loves it there. He became a bright green color ( was like brownish gray) . I was wondering what kind of frog it is. It burrows and comes out at night. I recently came to the conclusion that it came from the L.A river cuz my friend lives like 5 houses away from it. I love that frog ( altough i havent seen it in like 1/2 ayear) and was wondering if im taking proper care of it. I'm hoping to post a pic up soon but if some one knows of local frogs that would help. If it helps its croak sounds more like a chirp.
