Where (in the USA) are Tarantuals Illegal?

The subject says it all, where is it illegal to own tarantulas in the US?

I know in NewYork City it is illegal but outside the city limits it isn't and I think in Ohio it is illegal. There are other places but I forget where they are.

Everything is legal in Ohio - even Piranha. Ohio is 1 of the only 13 (I believe) states where piranha is legal. Ohio doesn't have regulations on them, but I do second the New York City comment.

Ts aren't illegal to own in CT, but they are illegal to sell here. Makes no sense to me at all. It really is a good thing though - when I go into a petstore here I don't have to suffer the sight of a bunch of ill cared for Ts wasting away in improper conditions.
