Well with my dunescorp i had the sand about 4 inchs deep. I wet it and packed it down afew days before the scorp arrived, but someone he still got stuck under it from a burrow collapse im guessing. If i didnt dig him up i dont think it would of made it. Im just woundering if anyone else has had this experence? What i did was take out alot of sand and only leave like a little over 1/2 an inch. So i wont have to worry about him geting stuck, at least untill hes bigger. Is it ok to have that little of sand?

What size is it? I would just give him a little sand if its still a small scorpling, and downsize its enclosure.

Get it in a smaller enclosure, A 5.5g for a 2" scorp is overkill. It would do just fine in the "small" sized KK's. Probably just fine in the "mini" sized ones too.

Just give it about 1/2" to 1" of sand and a hide and your good to go.
