My hometown is in southern Indiana and recently my sister found this lizard and took some photos. I'm not for sure what it is and I don't think I've ever really seen one like this in the area.
It is an Anole of some sort, but it's definately not the common Green Anole. It actually looks more like a Cuban Anole, though how one got to Indiana is anyone's guess. I know that they are common in Florida, so if you have recently been to Florida, or one of your neighbors has, it could have "hitchhiked' back to Indiana in some plants or packages.
