I currently own a G. Rosea tarantula and would like to also get a scorpion. What would be best for a beginner? I've heard Emperor scorpions are good, but they have some tricky temp/humidity requirements. I need a scorpion that I could keep at cooler temps and lower humidity, like my Rosea

I have a personal love for flat rock scorpions (Hadogenes troglodytes). I don't use any supplimental heating for mine, and their humdity requirements (70% or so) is not entirely unreasonable. Pretty easy to maintain with regular misting. Mine are relatively calm, and are a joy to work with.
