I have several along with automatic air fresheners in every room. No problems yet.

I don't think it should cause any problems. Burning a lot of candles in the room with the spiders may cause problems, but I mean A LOT of candles. I am pretty sure the smoke given off by them is pretty benign. I use air freshener in the room with the T's and snakes and no ill effects after 2 years.

shouldnt have a problem then i have a fan on reverse sucking all the air up in the room so any smoke is gone pretty fast.

I burn incense when at home ( usually I stick worth) and it doesnt bother my Ts. But I do burn it in a hallway so the incense smell can waft to other rooms, so maybe only smoke from burning it in the T room would bother them.
