I was doing tank upkeep tonight on my 5 little baby emperor scorplings, and I found one of them dead. I couldn't tell what might have happened, it seemed unharmed. I'm very down and very concerned. Was it something I did, or didn't do?
I set up the tank according to what I read here, gravel under the soil, with a pipe in the gravel to keep it moist. They always have water in their dish and they get about 15 to 20 sm/md crickets a week. They are about an inch now.

Although they are the most common, it seems like the less potent species have smaller broods and more casulaties as opposed to very potent scorpions which seem to have many many many slings in a brood. Don't beat yourself up over it... there will be more :)
