I'm managing to drag my family into the hobby. My mom called and said she can be in SA for most of the show this year (I'm in Seattle, it's a chance to see family), and now my aunt is coming and is going to try to get Continuing Education credit for the lectures towards her teaching career! Guess it's a good thing I got stuck with a 2 bed hotel room to myself.

Unfortunately due to a series of unforeseen events, I've had to cancel my flight to San Antonio and thus my participation at ArachnoCon. My sincere apology to everyone who expressed interest in my talk on photography, and to Michael specifically for not coming through in spite of his best efforts.

Things just went crazy the last couple of weeks, and even the implementation of plan-B took dive.
