I'm thinking of a starting a feeder colony of Blatta lateralis and Blaptica dubia. Would these two species be compatible? If so, what temperature range would be comfortable for both species? What substrate?
Any help/suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks!

they will be fine together but lateralis can be quite aggressive if not fed enough protein and have a constant source of water
mine eat freshly molted mealies all the time lol
use about 3 inches of moist soil so the dubia can hide
it also makes it easier to keep the humidity up
temperature is depending on what you want
75 to 95 is the range for both specie
i have both at 95
lol i have had 13,000 lateralis born from 135 adults since march
dubia are a bit slower
ive had about 9,000 dubia born in the same amout of time from 200 adult female and about 50 males (not a good ratio tho should be about 1.2)
i use a 18 to 20 % protein diet that i make and sell
i have a new batch being made right now

thanx froggy

Awesome, thanks for the help!
I'm going to get a hold of you about that diet as soon I get things started.

The only concern I'd have is the dubia eating the lateralis egg cases.
