I noticed that my A. versi goes on high alert when I put a blow fly in its container. The T picks up on the buzzing/air vibrations and chases the fly down. It can really move! For some reason I thought the fly would have to land near the T and walk around for it to notice.

By the way, feeding a WILD fly is not a good choice,
I believe flies carry around filth, and if it's a wild one..
If it's not wild..nvm

You notice whenever you blow on a T, they 'panic'? Thats because they sense air movements with their hairs. It 'feels' like a danger. In the case of a fly, they sense its movements buzzing around, and knows exactly where it is.
