substrate change over

hey guys I just got finished changing over my imperator tank from reptibark to peat moss, pretty easy change but my only question is how long does it take for it to dry enough for me to re-introduce my scorps? It's pretty soggy to my touch so I can't imagine it would be great for them. I currently have them in a covered shoebox in the warmest room in the house with air holes poked into it. Thanks

by soggy do you mean standing pools of water or just wet substrate? if there is no standing water, it should be fine

I squeeze the heck out of mines before putting it in the tank..that works.. best of luck.

they are pretty forgiving as long as they arent living absent of humidity.
