id say its a problem when u find them on your t's .but i think some forms of mites are totally harmless.
Just wondering...so...
first of all, how many mites in the enclosure really needs to be considered a problem should be treated?
second, other than changing substrate all together, has anyone had success with predatory mites or isopods?
and all other experience/tips about mites would be appreciated.
thanx all.![]()

It's ok if you see some every now and then but when it's a problem is when you don't see them disappear in a couple of days. That's when they can infest and become a problem. Any sign of mites should force you to dry out and clean the substrate until they are gone. That should prevent the infestation.
