My sling (mexican red rump) has been under the ground for like a week - 2 weeks in his tunnel. He hasnt come out. Should I feed him or what? I haven't put any dead crickets in there for like a week or now.

I would throw a cricket in. If it's still there tomorrow take it out.

If it has sealed its tunnel, don't put any food in there,
How big is the sling, and when was its last molt? It sounds like its preparing to molt.

It has never molted since I got it. I got it in November 19th, it is about the size of your pinky nail. It built a tunnel and climbed in it like a week to two weeks ago and I have not yet seen him out of it. I see him in it moving around sometimes, that is about it. I thought it may be getting ready to molt, so I haven't fed it for a week.

My L. parahybana used to be a pet hole when it was tiny. BUT, when it was hungry, it'd start sticking its little toes up out of the hole to wait for prey to "wander" by.

If yours is staying low and closed off, it doesn't need anything but peace and quiet. :)
