Oh, it was so hard. There was a Pet Expo in the same venue where I was running my dog in agility this weekend. And there was a vendor with the first king baboon (I think I may have misspelled its real name, I keep forgetting if its crayshawii or crawshayii) that I have ever seen. It was in an 8 inch deli cup, kinda squished up, so who knows how big it was, but it was huge! and gorgeous orange color. I was practically drooling. But they didn't seem to know much about the species - told me it was female because no hooks (thanks to you guys I know these ones don't get hooks), told me they had had it for 2 mos, and it had molted in their care (but hadn't tried to sex based on molt) and that they only feed it pinkies - 2-3 a week.

The stories didn't quite add up, and the price seemed awfully low, $100, and I made myself pass it by. THink I will be shopping for a sling in the spring though.

100 bux for 8" female crawshayi is good price, even tho it might be a WC specimen.
