I just purchased a beautiful-- and fat-- Smithii. She's about an inch long and still just a baby. What i needed to know is does she need a a water bowl while she's still so young and, if she doesnt need it now, then at what size should i introduce her to a water bowl. And, as a side note, this species does need moderate humidity, right?
Get a bottlecap and fill it with water. Don't put sponges or rocks or anything in it. If you genuinely feel it's too big for her, just dump a little water in one corner of the enclosure once a week. They can absorb humidity from wet dirt.
You don't need to do anything else, humidity-wise.
What's the enclosure like?
