Small Centipede found in South Texas

that is a lithobiomorpha "stone" centipede

indicator are 15 pairs of walking legs and the strong tergite heteronomy (the back armor segments are alternately very wide and very skinny).

both those characteristics contribute to the biology of the stoners to be able to run quickly

that's a pretty one. one of those latched onto my friend's palm when he "bravely" picked it up off our basement floor last year. talk about funny!

It's legs were uniform like a regular pede, only a tiny version. - Like a miniature red-headed pede.
