Urodacus armatus and Lychas buchari

Spent a few nights camped in outback South Australia. Lots of scorpions about the place, although all in 3 species, Urodacus armatus and yaschenkoi and Lychas buchari. All these scorpions occur sympatrically. armatus and buchari were surface active amongst sand dune grasses. Their burrows are almost impossible to see so scorpions just seem to appear from nowhere.

I also like the Lychas. I wish there were australian Lychas species in my collection.
