okay...how do you know if you have an adult or subadult T? my question mostly relates to my WC 3" G. rosea. i'd like to be able to sex her and knowing if she's molted and matured yet would just be awesome.

If you have a fresh molt look inside the abdomen and look by the rear edges of the forward book lungs. You will be looking for the epigastric furrow, if it appears as a wrinkle you have an immature male. If it protrudes into the body cavity as a wall or leaf-like formation you have a female. Hope this helps, if you want more info you can email me.

Have you got the "Tarantula keepers guide" yet? There is a page closer to the front where it shows two tarantulas molts and the difference between male and female.

Normally, you'll easily be able to spot a mature male by looking at his pedipalps, they ball up on the end. Females and immature males have palp endings that look like the other eight legs.

Hope this helps:)
