That baby rat was sooooo cute! I couldnt believe my eyes when it came out of the burrow. It was totally unafraid of us, and could care less that we were all oohing and aahing over it..
That walking stick was neat too, Ive never seen one just walking across a parking lot before. And thanks for not posting the pic of my eye, lol.
<What_> sky makes most of the guys in chat look like high maintenance girls.
<Jadespider1985> Sky, im now deathly afraid of you
Thanks Sky and Syndicate. I wish I would have taken another 100 photos of the Red-eyed katydid. They are an amazing insect. They look like a toy, an evil toy.
I can imagine all the ahhhhs when people see the photo. It is just too damn cute.
Heheh. I deleted the eye photo just for you.

I am not sure that the walking stick is actually a walking stick. It looks more like a water scorpion...
That's a really neat looking caterpillar, any idea what species or genus it belongs to?
Not on this website anymore. Find me on facebook if you need to get ahold of me.

Ill put up some pictures of the walking sticks I encountered in Texas later. I am still too tired from traveling to even bother with pictures now...
I did see several real walking sticks on a couple of the field trips. I only managed to take a few cheesy washed out photos of the walking sticks. I won't be sharing any of those photos.![]()
