Adult female S. scenicus passed

She died sometime around tonight; she's in a death curl. 2 months earlier, she laid a sac, so I think I did pretty well, because I've read that female jumpers die shortly after they make the sac/it hatches. She had so much personality for such a small spider, so I'm gonna miss her.

Sorry about that. Jumping spiders don't have the greatest of lifespans. You have her babies or set them free...?

They were ever so tiny, so I let most of them go free. I kept one of them, and it too is dead now, it died a week ago. I'm gonna stay away from these zebra jumpers now, I really should be looking for Marpissa muscosa.
