Hi,
Can anyone tell me anything about the Theraphosa species with the strong hotpink flashing on the carapace in adult females. This species is definately from Venezuela and is not the same one as the new one like T.apophysis (without the pink feet in juvies), but something different and quite colourful in comparison to the other Theraphosa. Looks similar in colouration to P.ultramarinus, except obviously a lot larger and from the genus Theraphosa.

No, sorry I cannot give out ANY info about this.

So, does anyone know anything about these???

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

You probably know more than me, but I listened to Rick discuss this species at the 2004 ATS conference. He remarked that they were much more "attractive" than the 2 described species... and that they would be a hit if and when they reached the trade.
