desert scorpions, group farming-what to choose?

Hello. SEARCH scorpion desert / steppe by. including my little preferences:

- I keep them in a small group (max 3-4 individuals)

- Terrarium 25x30x25 (width x depth x height) is suitable for them

- So do not require large temperature / humidity (will tolerate about 26-28 * C)

- as resistant to small errors in the kennel, which can always happen (though I will strive to ensure all)

- are not the type of bark scorpions - far because I have no vertical walls to molt

- are readily available for purchase

I know, can I require too much, but I established a course where you will not find such a species scorpions, give some other, to some extent, there fulfilling my requirements .... Overall, the most counts for me is that you can grow them safely group!

I thought about Mesobuthus Gibossus?

How about M.martensii? They 'farm' them in China quite a bit from what I understand. Very common and easy to raise.

I do not know how the availability of m.martensii in my country .... But if I decided to M. gibossus, whether it would be a good choice? How is this genre of cannibalism? I could safely hold a couple or 3 individuals?

To be honest I do not know anything about keeping M.gibbossus. Maybe someone else here does.

Apparently breeding conditions are almost the same as in M. gibbosus .. also is very much like scorpions. I think that once we have a chance to buy one or just M.Martensii/ M. gibbosus either ..... Just do not know how to cannibalism in them? Probably pair will not be attacking each other?

M.martensii are very conducive to communal enclosures and behave very well as long as there are places to hide and enough food. They will hang together in a group much of the time. I have not had any instances of cannibalism with them.

Don't know how M.gibossus reacts to similar situations but I would care to speculate that they might do ok.

I understand. In such a case remains for me to look for either M or M Martensii gibbosus .... As I wrote I decided on a pair. See which species happens to be available on the market.
But then on the other hand is still looking for a male O. Rugiceps

Mesobuthus gibbosus will suits you well.
I have only kept them in pairs (without any aggression) but there should not be problems in keeping them in larger groups if theres enough hiding places and food available.They will often spend there time together.
Nice display scorps and easy to keep with some tolerance.

I have a very important question. How long live Mesobuthus Martensii? And if someone knows exactly how long it lives after the last molt

They are fairly short-lived. They live 3-5 years at best but conditions play a large part of this. The length of time from birth to adulthood is variable and depends on living conditions. Perfect conditions will lead to fast growth etc. but also may lead to a shorter life.
