wolf spider moulting chamber?

my wolf spider, Trochosa sp, possibly ruricola has made a sort of purseweb looking thing. except instead of emerging as a tube, its more like a dome, and its covered with substrate, so you can only just tell its silk. i haven't seen it for days since the appearance of this strange web. what is she doing? is this just a normal burrow?

My wolf did this, and this was all a couple months ago.
I got my first look at her last weekend only to find out SHE molted into a HE. So it probably is a molting chamber.

that's cool. she constructed this lycosa-purse-web about 2-3 days ago, how long until she comes out, do you think?

its been about 5 days since she made the lycosid purseweb. should i be worried at all, or does it take quite some time?

nah i wouldn't be worried. see if you can peak inside it somehow, and see if you see your wolfie.
they can stay in it for a while, mine ended up living inside it. he's well though, so i can't say for sure for yours.

it's been AGES since I've seen it, and I miss it so much. I don't know anything these strange webs they make, would it be a good idea to try take the web apart? I know it's not shedding in there yet, because if I blow on it I see the spider move inside it.

it's still alive. and there's a reason it made the web, it knows what it is doing.
