well should i wait, or call T.O.D.?

man im bummed. i had done a trade and i got my package yesterday..and i unpacked my P. platyomma. and seen 2 freebies. one was an Aphonopelma seemani sling(which is super fast) and a B. emilia sling. the B. emilia was not in a death curl, but was stiff. so i went ahead and put it into an ICU and checked this morning and still hasnt moved...

now i know it was a freebie, but i hate to see any T die...so im just kinda bummed it didnt make it.

so should i call T.O.D. or what?

Other than the possibilities of dehydration or an impending molt, there really not much that can be done if its already in an ICU. I would give it time and keep your fingers crossed.

There's hope. In September we got an order that was 1 x P. rufilata, 3 x C. elegans and 3 x H. sp. NDS. The geniuses at Canada Post left the box at the door (and being in Canada, it wasn't warm...I think the temp that morning was 3 degrees C) without ringing the doorbell or anything. Anyways, all the T's were lethargic, and one elegans sling was (what we thought) dead, complete with deathcurl and everything. We put all the T's beside our BP's heat pad, and Mackenzie refused to give up on the little elegans sling even though I was pretty convinced it was dead. Well, with about 20 minutes of Mackenzie blowing lightly on the little guy and giving him some water, then putting it beside the heat pad for 2 hours, it was alive! I know in our situation it was because of the cold, but it shows that there is hope and like Joe said, until it starts going moldy or smelling, keep trying. Good luck.
