I was just wondering what you guys consider must haves. I think this could be an intresting thread for people to tell what they consider must haves. I will start it off on what I consider must haves.

B.smithi, A.avic, A.versicolor,GBB,P.murinus(OBT),P.regalis,P.irminia,L.parahybana,A.geniculata,N.chromatus,A. chalcodes,or seemani,or hentzi., and G.rosea or pulchipes

Add to it and express your opinions!:D

Only one I consider a "must have" at this point is my A. Versicolor. I just don't see how anybody couldn't own or at least want one of these. Must haves for me that I don't already have would be:

Avicularia Minatrix
Avicularia Pupurea
Brachypelma Albiceps
Brachypelma Boehmei
Chromatopelma Cyaneopubescens
Grammostola Pulchra
Lampropelma Violaceopes
Poecilotheria Metallica
Psalmopoeus Irminia
Xenesthis Immanis

Others that I am also interested in are:

Avicularia Avicularia
Aphonopelma sp. Malinche (what does the sp. mean anyways?)
Brachypelma Auratum
Brachypelma Vagans
Cyclosternum Fasciatum
Nhandu Chromatus
Poecilotheria Tigrinawesseli (and a few other pokies I didn't list)

I don't like this thread because I've put myself on a buying freeze due to the freezing weather and me not wanting to risk it but my top four are:

C. cyaneopubescens
L. violaceops
Pokies
P. murinus

Okay, maybe not four exactly but I can't decide on just one pokie to put on the list.

-An LP or T. blondi
-Some sort of pokie
-And one hefty terrestrial (G. rosea, B. vagans, etc.)

I could be totally happy with nothing but arboreals, and only OW arboreals at that. My 'must-have' list is going to be quite a bit different from those that prefer the terrestrials.

Hello!
I don't consider a T 'collection' complete without these Ts:

B. smithi
A. geniculata
Ch. cyaneopubescens
P. irminia
an avic
a Grammostola
a large terrestrial:L. parahybana or T. blondi
and if someone is not concerned about a bit stronger venom:
P. murinus
L. violaceopes
H. maculata
a pokie
a burrowing T- H. gigas, C. crawshay or H. lividum for example
a T from Australia

My current wishlist, including ones I already have:

G.rosea
B.vagans
A.chalcodes
L.parabyhana
H.incei
E.murinus
E.cyanognathus
P.irminia
P.pulcher
A.avic

In the end I'll probably get another P.irminia vs. the H.incei, just because communal tanking might not be for me. Mainly $.
