As usual best advice is to mimic the natural environment as much as possible. I'm going to look into the temp and rainfall of India when I get some time.
But obviously we're not in India so for substrate I'm keeping mine on a coco fiber / red sand mix, plenty of wood hides and a water dish. Where I am right now it's wicked hot and humid so I'm just leaving it at "room temperature" for now. I certainly wouldn't let it dry out, it's not a desert species.
