I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with that common name. Is there a possibility that you can find the scientific, or Latin, name for the spider you're inquiring about?

Yep, don't know the common name either, but I'd hazard a guess that it's probably either a Pterinochilus or Ceratogyrus species. Try doing a search for some pictures on those two groups of Ts and let us know if anything looks familiar.

After googling a bit it looks like it might be a stoutleg baboon? The scientific name of this T. is Eucratoscelus pachypus and it is more of a grey than blonde..

Can't help you with the species (since we don't know what it is), but many of your questions are general care questions. This isn't a first T is it? I'm just asking because some of the questions sound like beginner questions. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but odds are an African tarantula isn't the best choice for a first T. They tend to be very fast and more than willing to bite.

Anything they can overpower, but most keepers opt for insects of some sort. Crickets, mealworms, and cockroaches are most popular.

Unless you keep your place reall ycool (like below 70 F 24/7), no.

Good luck,

Wade

My guess, given the description, would be Pterinochilus lugardi.

What kind of blonde spider are you talking about? Dirty blonde, light blonde, bleached blonde, blonde with dark streaks or maybe spots? Just kidding of course. Like others have said, try finding a scientific name please.
