Question red/swollen booklung?

I noticed today when I was doing my daily snake/lizard/tarantula/cleaning/feeding/watering etc that one of my mature 1.0 g roseas has what appears to be a swollen and reddened book lung. The opposing booklung appears to be normal and healthy. He's appx 2yrs sexually mature so I realize that his time is limited anyway. I'd love to send a pic but apparently I need to invite one of the local teens over since I cannot seem to master posting pics.
Here's the scoop: Nothing has changed in his environment, he's on bed-a-beast, he's provided the standard fresh water in shallow dish... hide...etc. His humidity is fairly low although I have always kept one small area at the endd of his habitat a touch moist. The ventilation is good and there is no appearance of mites or other intruders. He doesn't seem to be behaving unusually with the exception of his last feeding attempt (two days ago) He caught and released a cricket several times but never ate it. I removed it after a few hours. I also noticed when I was inspecting the booklungs that he has his fangs slightly lowered and crossed.
I checked the other roseas whom are all kept in similar conditions and they are fine. Although not housed together they do share a shelving unit from which I have removed him in case this is something possibly airborne. Does anyone have any ideas? Suggestions? Any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance, Kigh

Sounds like hes dying. Do you have anything to breed him with while his time is left? You said hes been sexually mature for ywo years now? Long time.
Sorry i dont know exactly what is wrong with his book lung but it sounds like his time is very limited...All you can do is hope for the best.

Agreeing with the limited time guess.... I do have a female I can try to breed him to, but I am concerned about exposure should the booklung issue be something contagious.

Thanks for the input..

update...

So... the booklung now appears to be just bald rather than red and swollen and according to my son Zane (the rosea) ate a cricket without a problem <shrug> Guess I'll write it up to another weird rosea thing for now...
