Very nice!

Do you happen to still have the exuvium on hand? I realize you haven't sexed yours yet, but I'm interested in knowing at what size the uterus externus will be well developed on a female exuvium. If you still have the exuvium at hand I'd love to see a picture.

I do, I usually sex my spiderlings under a Leica microscope at work. However I have not been able to sex those yet. Still haven't checked after this molt, I'll see what I can do.

Aaron

If you do a search for Xenodendrophila gabrieli on the boards you'll find some more pictures of this species. It was recently synonymised with Encyocratella olivacea by Richard Gallon.

Gallon, R. C. 2005: Encyocratella olivacea Strand, 1907, a senior synonym of Xenodendrophila gabrieli Gallon, 2003 (Araneae: Theraphosidae: Stromatopelminae) with a description of the male. Zootaxa, 1003: 45-56.

Very nice! This is one of the few OW species that I'd really like to own.

Eric, do you have any females?
