We are proud to announce that Arachnopets.com will be presenting ArachnoCon 2006 in San Antonio, Texas. July 13-15 2006. We hope that this event will be the biggest and best of its kind ever held in the US. ArachnoCon 2006 will feature ArachnoExpo - a full day arachnid sales exhibition for ArachnoCon attendees, and the public, that will also be open the previous night for a special preview for registered ArachnoCon attendees only.

Just wanted to give a quick reminder that the early registration cut off date is approaching quickly. So please make sure that you fill out the registration form and complete payment by March 31st, in order to get the discount.

Please remember that just completing the form does NOT guarantee you the discounted price. Payment must be received on or before March 31st. Also, registering at the hotel does NOT mean that you are registered for the Arachnocon either. It just means that you reserved your hotel room. The hotel and Arachnocon must be registered for separately, as one does not guarantee the other.

GREAT NEWS!

The hotel has graciously agreed to extend the discounted rooms deadline to May 30th, ending at midnight Central Time (based on availability).

This deadline is only for the discount savings on the rooms set aside for ArachnoCon. You will all still be able to continue to make reservations after the hotel deadline. We just have no way of knowing at what price. We were told that the price will be whatever the going rate is at that time. After quickly going to the hotel website and checking the same dates, but without the ArachnoCon discount code, the rate is $139 for the King suite and $149 for the Double suite. This makes your ArachnoCon discount savings of $50.00 per night for a King suite, and $60.00 per night for the Double suite. WOW!

There is still time, BUT the discounted rooms are almost sold out. Rooms are limited to first come, first serve. So please don't delay in getting yours reserved today and SAVE!

After much in depth discussion with the hotel, they have yet again come through for us. They are amazed and impressed with the overwhelming response that we have gotten! So a big THANKS to all of you!


The Hotel has, AGAIN, graciously agreed to extend the discounted rooms deadline** to June 11th, ending at midnight Central Time (based on availability). They have also agreed to increase the amount of rooms we have by just a few more, if necessary (again, based on availability - they said there is another huge convention coming in the same week and they might need to hold rooms for them too, so please don't hesitate to make your reservation asap).


THERE IS STILL TIME, BUT the discounted rooms are almost sold out (even with the new increase). Rooms are limited to first come, first serve. So please don't delay in getting yours reserved today and SAVE!

Less than 32 days to go .....

Just wanted to remind everyone that the deadline for the discounted hotel rooms is here (June 11th). So if you have not made that room reservation yet, please do so now.

Also, if you know you are going and have not yet registered, please fill out the registration form so we can have everything prepared for you ahead of time. This will also help us when we are giving the convention center the numbers of how many are attending so they can have the appropriate number of chairs out for the lectures.

In addition, please know that if you opt to pay in person at the door, we will be accepting CASH ONLY. So if you need or prefer to pay with your credit card (via Paypal), then please don't delay and register online before July 1st and as a bonus you will save $5.00 per adult.

Due to the overwhelming response, the hotel has decided to increase our rooms and extend their deadline for the discounted rooms, one last time.


The Hotel has now increased our room hold to 60 rooms. The NEW deadline for the hotel is now JULY 1st, ending at midnight Central Time (based on availability). This is it everyone. There will be NO further extensions (per the hotel). Rooms are limited to first come, first serve. So please don't delay in getting yours reserved today and SAVE!


In addition, please don't forget to also register online for the convention (if you haven't already) and take advantage of the Discounted Online ArachnoCon Advance Registration (please note the July 1st deadline, when payment MUST be received by in order to qualify for the discount - sorry, no exceptions).


And as a BONUS for registering in advance, all pre-registered ArachnoCon attendees will receive a complimentary mini-issue of ARACHNOCULTURE magazine, courtesy of Michael Jacobi.


Remember, reserving your hotel and registering for the entire event are completely different and must be done separately. One will NOT guarantee the other. If you are just planning on going to the Expo on Saturday, then there is nothing furhter for you to do in advance, but show up (and pay at the door). However, if you plan on attending ANY of the lectures and plan on participating in ANY of the guided field trips, then registering is mandatory. No discounts will be offered at the door. No exceptions will be made.
