I pulled another Cyclosternum sp. "Machalla" eggsac today. Here's some pics.

Actually, this species was bred once before in the states, but it was sold as Metriopelma sp. "blue femur". It's the same spider.

Here's a larger female Cyclosternum sp. "Machalla".
She's 2 instars ahead of the female pictured above with the eggsac who is still quite small.

This is an incredibly beautiful spider, but VERY difficult to photograph. I struggle with getting the lighting right to do it justice.

They seem to be worth more though if there, Metriopelma sp. "blue femur". Congrats on the sac's Eric. I agree there not easliy photographed, I havent got a pic of them yet, that I'm happy with. (you're pics look great though !)

Sometimes 2-3 times as much

And the more expensive one's were bred here in the states. The less expensive one's were imported from Europe !

i have a Cyclosternum sp similar to yours from the peruvian andes in the region of Ancash, Peru found at approximately 3,200mtrs if i breed them i might sell them. Here are some photos.

hey eric do you know how large this species grows because right now it has a legspan of about 3 inches

I'm going to leave the Cyclosternum sp. "Machalla" photos in this thread for now. However, it appears that this species does not belong in the genus Cyclosternum. See the note at the bottom of THIS PAGE on Kaderka's website which references personal communication with Pérez-Miles.
