Substrate for Scolopendra Polymorpha

I’ve had a scolopendra polymorpha since he (or she) was maybe 3inch and it’s about 5 now. I’ve only had it in terra Aranea substrate cause that’s what I was told would be fine. But I wasn’t sure if they’d be happier or longer lived with better substrate. And how big the enclosure should be.

I don't know crap about centipedes, I will confess, but I've heard this same claim with millipedes many times. You mentioned centipedes are very prone to ingesting portions of their substrate...wouldn't this mean the substrate would be in their system whether it was the cause of death or not...
