I finally was able to acquire 2 female white widows Latrodectus pallidus. I am too excited to not share.

More pics please. I love widows, but have only kept a couple spots before. Never even seen a white widow in real life. Want to see more!!

It's cool to see people work on breeding true spiders and niche arachnids. Keep us informed if you produce them in the future.

I'm working with several species right now. There are nowhere near enough people breeding them in the states. Species that were common a few years ago are impossible to find now. Getting a mature male at the right timing is very difficult for most species. As far as I know everyone got females out of this import, but I will definitely be looking for males.

Any chance any were gravid ? Or were they all juveniles?
