It’s been a while … but I’m back
Here are my new babies in their enclosures! I think that the blondi could use a bigger one but … we’ll see!

Last night I've got my new enclosures. I was a bit nervous about rehousing my irminia slings, but it was easy peasy at this size ... just grabbed the whole "den" and put it in the new enclosures!

Nice Ts . Are blondis harder to care for than a geniculata? I only had an adult once not a sling.

Well … it depends! Back then, like 20 years ago I’ve had apophysis and I can’t say I’ve had any trouble with it! Now I’m reading they are hard, require a lot of humidity and so on! I can say they might be problematic for sure! In my blondi enclosure I have a hole under the substrate level so I can inject water directly into the lower layers of the substrate! Thus I won’t have to mist and just keep a full water “dish” at all times. I’ve being reading that having lower layers wet and let them evaporate trough the upper ones is the way of keeping high humidity. One thing to watch with high humidity enclosures is the ventilation! You can’t compromise with it!
So long story short - I don’t see it as that harder, just requires a bit of preparation!

Yeah I only got one of these Phamphos left but I’m not sure why mold keeps returning .. can check it out don’t want to derail your pics ! My genic was lost from a wet molt I’ve since redone everything .

Phampho humidity?

Are multiple water dishes fine for humidity, my substrate seems all dry . Two of the water dishes are on the side of the tank the spider never visits .(rather useless for drinking) . should I remove the saran wrap from the lid? Or keep it for better humidity. I know it sounds like a basic a...

While I was searching for a proper bark for Blondi, this one came off from a bigger piece! I hope my G. pulchra is going to enjoy it as much as I do! It looks cute in hers little enclosure!
