Hi,
A Sparassidae I found in French Guyana. Don't know what it is but it's one of the most beautiful spiders I ever seen !

Oh it was some years ago ...but I will go again in September, hope I will be able to find other specimens of this beautiful species.

would you ever consider trying to catch some and breed them?

or would bringing it back to your native land be too difficult?

cuz i'm *pretty* sure you could find some buyers for those pretties

Of course I will try to bring some and breed it :)

Last time I went in Guyana I brought many true spiders (this one, Ancylometes, Trechalea, Phoneutria, Latrodectus, Nephila, Kukulcania, and many others...), tarantulas (Ephebopus, Avicularia, some Dipluridae, Tapinauchenius, Theraphosa, some non identified...), scorpions (Tityus, Brotheas, Brotheochactas...) ...but zero centipedes ! :rolleyes: and it seems that there are some interesting species here (angulata, alternans, armata, morsitans, viridis, gigantea...) :)

you're going to come back with 200 kilos of invertebrates and no clothes or anything else =P
