Not for me, I was helping a member giving him ideas to build his own tank.
It works for any fish tank, you only need 3 glass pieces, one measuring inside length and two measuring outside length so they lean on top of the side panels, two perforated aluminiun sheets, an L shaped profile and some acrylic hinges.
The inner glass acts like a support for the ventilation grille. Just to glue the L shaped profile at the same height, so the grille sits on top of them. To drill the holes a simple diamond round saw works wonderfully.
For the door, just glue one of the glass panels and the aluminium sheet. Then glue the hinges to the aluminium sheet and to the last glass panel, and voilà, a top opening door. I recommend adding 2 cm to the top grille, so it has 1 cm on each side to be glued properly. Eg id the enclosure measures 40cm wide and the grille it's in the middle, then use two 16cm glass panels and a 10cm grille. This will leave an 8 cm gap, enough to fit pc fans if needed.

The idea is great, formed simple and clear..The realization become easier when the plan is good..Sizes are more than perfect for terrestrials. I appreciate the details you gave for the project.
