Here's some babies. The only 2 Millipedes to live in this tank was an adult A. Gigas and an adult Ophistreptus Guineensis, both presumed female, both since passed. 20240222_185915.JPG 20240222_185913.JPG 20240218_154718.JPG 20240218_154633.JPG 20240218_154451.JPG 20240218_154455.JPG 20240218_154405.JPG

Were the adults old?? or is this typical
Good luck with the babies
Thank you. They were. They were already full adults when I got them, so wasn't surprised to only have them a year. Still unsure which is the parent. Either one of them was gravid for a year, one of them parthenogenisized or they hybridized. All scenarios seem unlikely, but one must be true. Awaiting some colours for more clues.

That kind of looks like a worm, I mean I most likely would have confused it for one the first time.
Yeah, they do a bit. They looked like maggots when I first spotted them. Started a bit whiter, then went really translucent. The segments look kinda' wormy too.

I've been ignoring the possibility of albinism, so as not to be disappointed later. I'm expecting browns to come through.

Hello,
you must hbought atleast one fertilized female, with both specimens being mostlikely wildcaught. How did you keep them?
What temperature?

Hybridization and parthenogenesis are both not possible.

They are normal babies, not albinos.

Best regards
