Confirm ID on Scorpling

Hey all,

I just received this scorpion today, sold as a P. imperator. An experienced friend pointed out that it definitely isn't a Pandinus and looks to be an AFS *face palm*. I'm new to scorpions, so this sucks.

Can I get some clarification on specific ID?

Heterometrus spp. AFS based on the telson , chela, and carapace.

Yup a Heterometrus species. Likely H. silenus but post again when it's had a few molts and we can reliably tell the species.
