Could you keep a tarantula on concrete?

I can crush it so it turns like dirt. My friend said it likes it dry but i don't know if he is true.
I would never use dry bred for my tarantulas, the dirt doesn't look too bad, just scrape the top off and dig deep to the nice stuff and then bake it, if someone asks what you're doing just say you're getting soil for plants if you feel embarrassed. I looked at some pics of chaetopelma sp in the wild, it does seem to live in dry dirt.

I understand you might not be able to dig holes where you live without attracting attention but don't use bread. Try potting soil, and, don't use bread.

Just collect some dirt and bake it in an oven. just don't hit a mine with your shovel.

I agree that dirt actually doesn't look bad...Absolutely, positively do NOT use bread, no matter what anyone suggests or how much you have....you have more usable dirt available anyway. No matter what you tried, bread is not the answer.;)

Do you know what species exactly? Do you have a pic of the t? I'd love to see it. How big is it?
