I would like everyone to understand that "Crevalle" is Sam Sundberg, owner of Backwater Reptiles.

BUYERS BEWARE - Backwater Reptiles is a nice look website only, all his reptiles are shipped from real reptile businesses in other states. Backwater Reptiles is nothing more then a drop shipper.

Hey everyone,

My first tarantula purchase was at backwaterreptiles.com a couple weeks ago. I ordered two goliath bird-eating tarantulas, and when I got them in the mail they were both in great condition. They're doing very well and I really like watching them eat.

I wasn't sure since backwater is mostly a reptiles website, but their prices lured me in. Anyways, had a very good experience overall and wanted to pass it along.

Admin Note/Warning:

We just want to let everyone know that the user "crevalle" has contacted us and admitted to being the owner of BackwaterReptiles. He signed his message as "Sam". He was requesting the post by TheTruth be removed as he feels it was a "smear campaign" against his business. This may or may not be true. However, misleading our members will not be tolerated.

Therefore, we are banning the "crevalle" account, as we feel they tried to fraud the members here by posting a review, ultimately, for themselves; while claiming to be a random buyer. This review has since been removed. The review can be seen in the post above, quoted by TheTruth. As you all can clearly see, they signed their review as "Rick". Not sure why they felt this was acceptable. I assure you all that it is not.

It is clear to us that the user TheTruth has some sort of ulterior motive here. Obviously there is something more going on here between both users/accounts. Please proceed with extreme caution if choosing to conduct business with either seller/business.

It has just come to our attention that the user "TheTruth" is the same user as "Kyler5150". Seeing as our rules mean nothing to them as they are clearly on a mission to troll, we are banning their accounts as well.
