Regeneration seems to be quite tempermental in scorpions, I don't think they can ever fully regenerate a limb however with enough moults I have heard people say that some regeneration will take place. I expect that you do need some remnant of the limb to remain for this to happen effectively.

i had a T.paraensis 2nd instar which had only 1/8 of its lower claw (movable finger)

and over the past few moults (its 5th instar now)
it now has 9/10 of its lower finger


so by the time its adult it will have totally regrown

its not very extensive regeneration, but still a fair deal, considering the length of these guys claws :D
