My B. albopilosum just molted, and though she isn't full size yet, she'll need a rehouse one day for sure.
I have a pre-built enclosure for her, but I'm thinking it's too short. Height is always a consideration, especially for a terrestrial species. The Nam Ngai Hong company from Thailand makes excellent crystal clear shoe boxes in a few different sizes, and the biggest one I can find (without paying huge shipping charges) is 11"L x 8½"W x 4½"H. They make a taller version, giving almost 6", which including substrate, might still be too short.
Is there such a thing as too little space from floor to ceiling? Not even sure what symptoms this might produce. At full size, my spider would be 5-6" DLS, but only having 4½" total space seems tiny.
Also, as an earth-mover, this leaves less substrate to move around... Should I just keep this clear box around, for when my Euathlus sp. "Red" grows up in a decade, she can have it?
I still have a long time before my albopilosum needs something bigger than her current.

I've removed one of the fake succulents, and have a few other, bigger hides I can use. The strappy bits are in need of an upgrade as well.
What do you guys out there think?
