I'm keeping Orange head and Six spot roaches. Right now I'm having the problem of the substrate (which is just their waste and old molts) being constantly moist. I don't think this is harming them any other than attracting alot of little moths. I think that moisture is seeping from the dish i put the water crystals in.
Has anyone had any problems with keeping them in a damp bin? If so I'm going to have to figure out how to dry it out.
On a side note I found baby orange heads last night. YEAH!!!. I've had them since June and I think there are more baby Six Spot but there is so much waste in there and little ones already that it's hard to tell if there are new babies.
Oh and how you people clean your roach bins. I'd like to clean them out a bit but it's going to be alot of work to get the little ones out.
Thanks,
Israel
