Hello, my mother's garden has these running around, they are so small and cute. I don't recognize this type of jumper. I had a difficult time getting a good clear Pic. I tried to sharpen the image to try to bring out it's markings, I'm hoping someone recognizes this jumper. We are in Utah. 20240504_190402.jpg

Update: I looked closer with a light and it has a metallic sheen on the carapace. In the photo, where it looks like there's a triangle marking on the abdomen, it's actually a metallic sheen as well. Exact location is Utah County, Utah. Thanks so much.

I did more digging, and it may be a Sassacus vitis, i.e. table grape spider. Pics on the web looked compelling. I tried to take more pics for everyone to see, maybe someone can help me confirm? The reflection from the metallic body was creating marks that aren't really there. But the white ring at the top ridge of the abdomen and side are really the only markings. 20240506_203048.jpg 20240506_202219.jpg 20240506_202838.jpg 20240506_202753.jpg 20240506_202901.jpg 20240506_202838_resized.jpg 20240506_203048.jpg 20240506_202219.jpg 20240506_202838.jpg 20240506_202753.jpg 20240506_202901.jpg 20240506_202753.jpg 20240506_202838_resized.jpg

Looks like Dendryphantes nigromaculatus, AKA black and white alpine jumper, black-marked jumping spider. Very cool find indeed! 👍
