Scorps which sting prey

This will be my first scorp. As for scorpio maurus, I read in one of the threads that they only live 1 year...I always thought scorps all live much longer than 1 year...I tried researching and finding out how long scorpio mauras live, couldn't find anything except that one thread...and as for Tityus forcipula (ecuador), isnt that the same scorp as Tityus ecuadorensis? cause thats the one I want as well, I'll end up getting all three scorps though, and I know scorpio maurus borrow a lot...

S. maurus sp have an average lifespan of more then 3-5 years. As mentioned earlier their gestation(sp?) period is approx 14 months. I have one that is ready to pop.

I've read that they live for one year in captivity.

My little AZ bark scorp stings every time. Tiny palps so it has to.
