They are pretty surface active, but can bury for long periods at a time when molting. Love fruit and protein, I give mine whole minnows which they love. Large species, so give them a deep layer of substrate. Also give them so branches to climb, they like to explore. They take a while to mature though, so mine have not reproduced yet.
