It likely is, but I still have to actually ID the spermathacae as Aphonopelma anax.

And thank you, it’s a passion of mine!! ☺
she's so beautiful. 😭🙏 I'd probably feed her every so often or make her a little house if she's consistently there. I'd say I'd keep her but w/c so I'd not 😭

The tarantula that got me heavily into the hobby was actually aponophelma chalcodes. There was this video of a tan specimen with a dark brown rump... and it came from that. Not sure if she really was a chalcodes but ugh. perfection. I like flashy colors as much as the next person but something about her really moved me.

She was a nice mature female so she can continue to live out there and breed out there. No need to take breeding females from the wild in my opinion! Still looking to find some slings out there where I found her though!
