My forever child (Pseudhapalopus sp blue) molted last night! Obviously wanted to freak me out as much as possible by molting on their side then sitting unmoving in stress position until I woke up this morning 😆
Getting pretty close to the 1" mark these days. Maybe if I'm lucky we'll hit it by the end of the year lololol.
This is the best pic I could get. Mochi is a little camera shy lol.

0.1 Encyocratella olivacea is in the midst of a molt right now:

Those colors are amazing right out of the box, can't wait to see her in a few days! She should be over 4" DLS now.

Ha! Thanks - I am definitely intrigued by the obscure and uncommon... It's nothing special, but if you're ever in my part of the world hit me up and we'll arrange a tour, lol.

She finished her molt without issue and seems to have had a good size gain. She is in a hard spot to get good pics, but here are a few:

As far as molt cycles go, this one has been fighting for last place with my Bonnetina minax. They have been the same size and next door neighbors. Maybe something to do with it.

Zapote, Bumba horrida. One minute it was not molting (okay almost 1 year it was not molting) and then I looked again and saw this

Castor Bean, T vagans, the only Tliltocatl I avoided buying because I figured I'd get one as a freebie someday, got one as a freebie that day from Spider Shoppe 🤣. She (I think, if it's more of a Hitler than a Zorro) made it out quickly too. These are the only molts I enjoy. Over before I can finish my daily watering rounds.

I am really surprised she went before her boyfriend, Sagan, thought for sure he'd be next. Now I'm worried he's about to hook out

In the last few days, I've had molts from:

0.0.1 Davus sp. Oaxaca, maybe 0.5" DLS now!
1000021115.jpg

0.0.1 Euthycaelus amandae - somewhere in that deep, dark hole is a freshly molted T around 1.25" DLS:
1000021116.jpg

0.0.2 Eucratoscelus pachypus, 1" & 1.375" DLS, no pics...

0.1 Cyriopagopus lividus, 4.25" DLS (crappy pic of the molt):
1000021111.jpg

0.1 Omothymus sp. Sumatran tiger, ~4" DLS:

These molts are all great, but I wish my P. victori, C. versicolor, and A. moderatum girls would molt... 🤨 Soon, hopefully!

Why are you the way you are?

The plug is made of silicone, while she may be aware it's a feeder portal I do believe she likes the squishy texture. She's been working at it for months.

Quagmire, Aphonopelma paloma

This one doesn't retreat to her burrow. When she discovers my presence she starts to act like a bratty little toddler. Negative attention is still attention. I haven't fed her in a while because she looks like an alien with hydrocephalus

I gave her a cricket and she ate it. Just trying to keep the peace. She's molting now. She's so cantankerous!

Missed one, hopefully it's going well
