So I posted this guy way back on page 11 in 2019 lol. He molted June 22, 2019 so he's about to hit his four year anniversary. And he is still alive and kicking!
And he looks in pretty good shape, too!

He really and it's crazy. It was my first T prior to coming to this board. I bought it at a pet store (didn't know any better) and it molted a couple months after bringing it home. I came here to whine about having a MM. So, I bought a bunch more because I knew this one was going to die soon. And.... he refuses to die. LOL I have had three other MMs since then that have come and gone and he's still alive and kicking. He has the tiniest abdomen, but he's not refused a meal in a long time. He's no longer making sperm webs, but that's just been in the last year or so.

What a trooper he is. I think my MM T albo is about 18months now and he still looks good too. Have a G pulchra MM coming up 2 years and he is also very active and feeds well. Been paired with a couple of my females in his younger days but no signs of any sacs.
Very under rated us mature males ha ha

This gorgeous dude is Estella, MM C. Versicolor. I traded him to a breeder a while back. Hope he was able to make some cute little blue babies with their girls. 20230122_115139.jpg 20230122_114911.jpg

My big MM Psalmopoeus cambridgei went out to do some business today, so I got a few pics of him before I packed him up. I also measured him, and he was 6.75" DLS! That's a long-legged T!

Good luck, big guy!

This guy has been mature since early July, I just can never get a good pic of him since he's so reclusive. I have the space heater on tonight, though, and he's pressed up against the side soaking up heat. It's definitely a point and shoot situation, though.

1.0 Selenobrachys sp. Romblon pink - about 5.5" DLS of pink pipe cleaners 😆

I got a tarantula that came free with the enclosure...an 8x8x12 arboreal...that I bought on offer up a few months ago. The previous owner said he got him as a sling with a GBB female that was also housed in one of these. And the poor guy was raised in it. The cork bark is glued to the wall.

He got rehoused immediately and has been tearing up his new 10x15x8 digs since.

This morning he hooked out. Here's to hoping he gets more time to stretch his legs.

Chilobrachys fimbriatus, roughly 4.75" DLS. I got his enclosure out to take some pics and didn't notice he was right in the middle of using his sperm web. He was unfazed...
